Aïcha offers workshops for ‘hen parties’, for cultural organisations and women’s groups, holiday workshops and educative school programs. The length and the subject of the workshop can be adapted to your wishes.

FUN: that’s what it’s all about!

On the program:

- A fascinating bellydance demonstration by Aïcha.
- Typical Oriental hip belts are available for all participants to get the mood going.
- We learn several Oriental hip movements and arm movements.
- With these movements we make a simple but really nice bellydance on attractive Oriental music.
- A short introduction to the history and culture of Oriental dance.

Time: Choice between an initiation of 1 hour 30 minutes and a maxi workshop of 2 hours 30 minutes.

This workshop is not possible for the groom and his friends, but on the wedding there will be a very nice surprise for the gentlemen: a bellydance demonstration by the bride and her friends of the dance that they learnt during this workshop. (nice pictures below)

Full option Oriental bride’s workshop

The full option Oriental bride's workshop includes two parts: a belly dance workshop on the hen's party and an unforgettable bellydance show by Aicha on the wedding.

On the hen's party Aïcha learns the bride and her friends a simple but fantastic belly dance on wonderful music.

On the wedding, Aïcha first gives an impressive bellydance show. Afterwards, the bride and her friends join Aicha on the dance floor and together they perform the belly dance that they have learnt during the hen's party. An unforgettable surprise for the groom and all the guests! Success guaranteed!

Educative school programs: a belly dance workshop on intercultural events or sports day

This workshop includes:

- An introduction into a festive part of the Oriental culture. Explanation on history and culture of bellydancing and some background about the existing prejudices.

- Bellydance demonstration by Aïcha.

- We learn several typical dance movements. With these movements, we learn a bellydance on Oriental music.

- Time for questions and answers.
